HRM Practices and Workplace Satisfaction Through a Human-Centric Lens: A Study of Edu-Tech Firms in Delhi NCR
Background: The Edu-Tech industry in India has grown significantly, especially since the pandemic ended. This has altered how businesses are supposed to oversee and assist their employees. As these companies grow and diversify, good HR practices are more important than ever to preserve employee stability and satisfaction in a labor market that is becoming more and more competitive.
Purpose: This study examines how employees' job satisfaction in Edu-Tech companies in the Delhi NCR region is impacted by HR practices, particularly hiring, training and development, performance reviews, and feedback systems. Additionally, it looks into whether these practices have an equal impact on all businesses.
Methodology: A quantitative research design was employed to gather data from 400 employees of different Edu-Tech companies. Structured questionnaires were used to assess employee perceptions of HR practices and job satisfaction. We used multiple regression analysis and correlation to ascertain the degree and importance of the relationships between the variables.
Key Findings: The results show that employee satisfaction and HR practices are strongly correlated. Carefully considered training programs and open hiring practices were two of the most important factors in employee satisfaction. Fair performance reviews had a significant impact on people's perceptions of their skill development, but regular feedback had little effect, suggesting that businesses might use it differently. The results show that HR practices have different effects on different organizations. Certain practices have a stronger effect depending on the situation.
