Enhancing Quality Education through Institutional Digital Transformation and Teacher Communication Effectiveness: A Mediation Analysis
Quality education, one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, is vital for a nation’s professional progress and significantly contributes to the country’s development while boosting global competitiveness. A high-quality education depends on core factors such as students’ characteristics, institutional support, curriculum and learning goals, feedback, and motivation. Additionally, teachers’ communication effectiveness plays a pivotal role in cultivating a stimulating learning environment, encouraging analytical thinking, and providing tailored support to learners. As education becomes increasingly digital, it is essential to plan and organise educational content through technological advancements. With digital transformation, the usage of digital tools such as multimedia, AI and Analytics, flipped classrooms, and Online assessments has become indispensable alongside conventional teaching skills. The current study seeks to gain insight into how core determinants of education, with digital transformation and teachers’ communication effectiveness as mediators, can influence quality education. A model has been proposed, highlighting the role of teacher communication effectiveness and digital transformation as robust mediators. The study makes a substantial contribution to the corpus of knowledge by integrating teachers’ communication effectiveness and digital transformation with core determinants of Quality education, ensuring opportunities for inclusive, equitable, and continuous learning that foster holistic development and equip students with life skills, knowledge, and character.
