Evaluating The Effectiveness of NAAC Accreditation in Enhancing Educational Quality and Student Outcomes in Indian Higher Education
This study evaluates the effectiveness of NAAC accreditation in improving educational quality and student outcomes in Indian higher education institutions. Using a quantitative and comparative research design, data were collected from 400 students through a structured questionnaire. Statistical analyses, including t-test, correlation, and regression, were applied to assess differences between accredited and non-accredited institutions. The findings indicate that NAAC-accredited institutions perform significantly better in terms of educational quality, infrastructure, student outcomes, and satisfaction (p < 0.001). Regression results further show that educational quality and accreditation strongly influence student satisfaction. The study concludes that NAAC accreditation significantly enhances institutional performance, while highlighting the need for a more outcome-based and student-centric accreditation approach.
